As Impact100 OC aims to achieve and exceed a fundraising target of $100,000, we have welcomed two new board members to help engage existing and prospective members.
C.C. Hafner, assuming the role of Director of Membership and Recruitment, and Karina Lane, joining the board as Director of Membership Operations, have been pivotal to the Impact100 mission as members, and will now leverage their insight and respective skill sets to amplify our message, reach new members and empower existing members to realize their full impact.
“I joined Impact100 OC as it has given me the opportunity to see the wide array of needs in our community and join forces with an amazing group of women to help make a difference,” said C.C., who brings over 20 years of fundraising expertise with prominent nonprofits and startups. Now the Director of Philanthropy at MemorialCare Saddleback Medical Center Foundation, C.C. previously raised $3.2 million in two years at St. Anne School as Executive Director of Development. She currently resides in San Clemente with her husband of 17 years, Ian Hafner, and two children, Declan and Madelyn. C.C.’s passion and leadership will help expand membership, strengthen our mission, and increase the transformational impact we have in Orange County.
Karina Lane, who has served on several of our grant review committees in recent years, originally joined because “I value the opportunity Impact100 offers to make a meaningful impact in our local community alongside a group of women who are passionate about giving back.” Karina, who grew up in Orange County, received a Bachelor of Arts in History from Boston University where she was also commissioned as an Army Officer. After serving as a Field Artillery and Signal Officer as well as deploying, Karina left military service and went on to receive a Master of Business Administration from the University of Washington. She currently serves as the Vice President of Operations at a financial management firm in Southern California and lives in Laguna Hills with her husband, two children, and four Great Danes. As Director of Membership Operations, Karina will help ensure a meaningful and seamless experience for every member as we continue to grow our community of changemakers.
